And I am still hoping to find a pilot slot somewhere. But I did take the ATC OPM test (to become a controller) and I passed that in April. I am waiting for a phone call from them now that I've graduated.. Minimum base pay that an ATC can make is $44,000 a year. If you work in a center it is about 90k to start. A lot of ppl think ATC's are stressed out and suicidal, that isn't the case anymore with the new advances in technology and working conditions.. so it'll be a nice place to get my feet wet.. Maybe I'll fly on the side and be a Flight Instructor for a little while.
